Most of my love and energy is going into building Historical Romance Magazine right now, but I do have a Work in Progress, the final editing of “Lady in Waiting”, an English medieval tale, and a first draft of book two- “Dove in Flight”.

I’m a newcomer to the writer’s world, but I grew up with a book in my hand, usually a classic or high fantasy adventure with a strong romantic plot or subplot.

I enjoy Georgette Heyer, Charles Dickens, Elizabeth Gaskell, Jane Austen, Robin McKinley & Ursula La Guin, but have added newer, lighter & spicier romances to my reading list from contemporary Indie writers to reigning queens of romance.

Most of my life I spent painting portraits, landscapes and still lifes, and being a mother. I read my first “modern” (published after 1940?) romance novel somewhere after my forty-second birthday.
